Lige Dickson founded Lige Dickson Company in 1937, getting involved with Tacoma and Seattle's early infrastructure projects and taking on difficult and high profile projects in Western Washington throughout his career, which lasted into the 1970s.
From the 1970s until 2015, Lige's son William Dickson, who was awarded the Association of General Contractor's Lifetime Achievement Award, and his grandson Richard Dickson, moved the company boldly forward, consistently adding valuable equipment and maintaining a highly trained and motivated staff.
Now Richard, along with David and Paul Dickson, Lige's great-grandsons, are working to continue and improve upon the company's services in the Seattle and Tacoma markets, while also taking on projects throughout the northwest and beyond.
Dickson Company retains a staff with a combined experience in excess of 150 years and has as much experience and technical ability as any demolition, abatement, or civil construction contractor, while maintaining a safety record among the best in the industry. With a company-owned inert waste landfill and state-of-the-art concrete and rock crushing operation to complement these services, Dickson Company is uniquely equipped to offer a turn-key package to its clients.
