Abatement
With nearly 40 years of experience in the industry, there is little we haven’t seen. We have built a diverse and capable fleet of equipment that allows us to complete complex projects safely and quickly for our clients.
We have pioneered the asbestos and hazardous materials abatement sector shortly after the ban on asbestos in new construction. We have experience in lead, asbestos, PCBs, radiological contamination, petroleum, and universal waste.
Most abatement contractors rely on large crews and manual labor to perform the work. At Dickson, we value our employees’ health and safety and try to mitigate injury by replacing manual labor with specialized machinery whenever possible. Our fleet of small machinery, tile machines, grinders, and remote-controlled demolition equipment allows us to do quality and consistent work while keeping our employees and the surrounding community safe.
We are among the few in the industry that use high-pressure water jetting equipment in abatement. For coatings and mastics, water jetting is a faster removal method than others and ensures the asbestos being removed is kept wet, preventing the possibility of fibers becoming airborne.
